Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Northwest

Not a 5 star luxury resort but a modern, clean, convenient Marriott property with great service. Patricia at the front desk was super helpful when we made an unusual request for extra pillows- thank you Patricia!

I would first like to start out with giving a huge thank you to Ms. Patricia, she was truly the best part of our stay at Fairfield. My family and I flew into Ft. Lauderdale for a mini vacation, which quickly turned into a nightmare. After our rental car getting cancelled and having to scurry to find another one, then finding out that the original hotel we booked catered to illegal activities, my family and I drove around desperately looking for somewhere decent to stay. We pulled into Fairfield not expecting much at 7pm after traveling since 3am. Ms. Patricia was at the front desk and was so welcoming and helpful. Even though she was assisting other guests at the time and was very busy, she immediately called someone over to take us to view a room. She did inform us that the room we would be viewing was the last available, and that she could not guarantee it was available for the length of time we needed. As soon as we viewed the room we were immediately relieved. It was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the pool and golf course. The gentleman that showed us the room was also very welcoming and helpful as well. We hadn't even rented the room yet and he was offering to bring us extra blankets, sheets, and towels; which we most certainly appreciated. We went back to the lobby and told Ms. Patricia we will take it. Well, she worked her magic and was able to accommodate us for the length of our stay, and she was able to get it for us at a great rate with breakfast included. As for the hotel itself, it was always clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was simple consisting of oatmeal, waffles on weekends, sausage, eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juice, and hot coffee at all times, which we enjoyed. Unfortunately the nightmare of a vacation continued as the days went by. I can honestly say however that the best part of our trip was staying at Fairfield and seeing Ms. Patricia when she was working. If you are looking for a decent place to stay that is clean and the staff treats you well, look no further. If ever we return to Ft. Lauderdale, Fairfield is the only place we will stay. Thank you to the staff, but most importantly thank you Patricia, we hope to see you again (Frean).

We had a brief overnight stay at this location. I was nervous about getting rest since the lobby was packed with young boys and their sports equipment. I'm happy to say that we got a good nights sleep and never heard a single peep. I can only comment on the cleanliness, nice room, and quiet stay. Thanks for the nice, short trip :)

This is our 4th Fairfield on our current road trip, and all have been great. This is a new hotel and it’s beautiful, comfortable, and has all the amenities we need. It’s well off the highway, so no traffic noise. Great restaurant next door. Thanks for a great stay.

Absolute Lifesavers on NYE – Exceptional Service by Admarie! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone booking in Fort Lauderdale. We originally booked the Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale at Cypress Creek, but when we arrived at 11 PM on New Year’s Eve, they informed us they were overbooked. The Sheraton staff was not helpful at all; they told us to "figure it out" with Hotel Tonight and didn't offer any suggestions or assistance. To top it off, that hotel reeked of marijuana and had awful hospitality. We truly dodged a bullet by ending up at the Fairfield by Marriott. The service here was night and day. Admarie was incredibly helpful, hospitable, and kind throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond while working with us and the Hotel Tonight representative to make sure we had a place to stay. It was the best service we’ve received since landing. The Room & Stay: Cleanliness: The entire room was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Comfort: The beds were extremely comfortable, which was a relief after a long, exhausting trip. Amenities: They offer a great complimentary breakfast. Thank you, Admarie, for turning a stressful situation into a great stay. If you want a clean, professional, and welcoming hotel in Fort Lauderdale, stay here!

A really good hotel. This hotel is definitely a 4.5 stars for its level. Employees were nice, property was fairly clean. Parking seems to be shared with the golf course but it wasn’t an issue for me. Breakfast was just ok, not the best I’ve ever had. Marriott has to do something about that coffee bc it tastes like bitter sludge at every Marriott hotel. My room was pretty clean but surface level clean. There’s enough grime caked in that it will take some elbow grease to really clean it. Bed was comfortable enough though I could feel the indentation of where most people sleep. Mini fridge kept my stuff cold the few days I was there. I had a connecting room and I could clearly hear any conversation someone was having. Couch was comfy and the tvs worked perfectly.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean, the rooms were clean. However, I forgot to bring my magnification mirror so that I could apply my makeup. The hotels I have stayed at in New York or Las Vegas for instance, do you provide makeup mirror that is either attached to the main mirror in the bathroom or it stands alone on the side. All in all, I found the hotel to be adequate and I would stay there again.

This modern, clean, and commodious hotel was one of the great surprises of our trip. The staff, the lobby, the room (particularly the bathroom), the food; all were great. If I had to nit-pick I would suggest that rather than one modern and very comfortable chair there should be two.
